Jeanneau 60 yacht

This new video shows both the sport and cursing version in action. Beautifully demonstrating the versatility of the new Yacht, we are pleased to see both these boats in action.

It’s great to see how different Jeanneau have been able to make these two boats, which provides customers with a difficult choice if they are in the market of the 60ft Yacht.

We are pleased to announce that the first photos of the Jeanneau 60 Yacht are now online.

What to look out for…

SEE ALL THE PHOTOS

As this is a new concept yacht, she is full of innovation and design. Lets start on the deck:

As you can see Jeanneau has brought into the new yacht the very popular Included Side Decks. This was always to be expected with this new yacht as since their release on the new Sun Odyssey Ranges, they have been a massive success. As the boat becomes larger, the side decks get even more practical once you have used them, a must have on your new boat tick list.

They have brought in the ‘big boat’ concept helm, with a stand alone pedestal at each helm with all the navigation that you would want to access whilst at the helm. Just like on the flagship yacht, the Jeanneau 64, you can operate every section of the yacht, down to furling the sails at the touch of a button.

As you would expect, all the lines run aft to the helm-station away from the cockpit, not to intrude on your guests, and with the included side decks, the winches can be worked on both from the cockpit and side decks.

You will also find a negative bow to increase the waterline and performance of the yacht together with the fixed bowsprit.

The stern is something special…

An offset dingy garage, fixed rainmaker shower, split platforms and optional stern seating with BBQ and galley are some of the features packed into this section of the boat.

The galley will house a 1300W planch grill, 30L fridge, sink and a sun mattress with backrest on the aft railings. The dinghy garage will have storage for the liferaft, electric inflator for the dingy together with an electric winching system for easy deployment and retrieval of the dingy.

Finally the yacht comes with an optional arch which takes the main-sheeting system and also allows for a fixed spray hood – as found in the Jeanneau 64.

Lets move inside…

The aft cabin on this boat is something special as having a dinghy garage and a masters cabin aft has proven difficult. However this boat benefits from both of these highly desirable features. Quality fittings and finish is evident on this yacht with both an optional Light Oak and Teak finish to the interior.

The galley is located forward of the saloon and incorporates a full sized fridge freezer and storage throughout with many options including wine fridge, multiple optional fridges and microwave.

Forward Cabin –

There is something special here also. As well as an owners forward cabin, you can have the twin double cabin forward with optional removable divider. As you can see from the photos above, the partition wall cleverly folds into a dedicated recess and the beds alter size, so if you have a single couple onboard as guests, you can now offer them a real VIP cabin.

Finally the boat has multiple sail locker options to suit your needs, whether it will be storage or more space for guest or crew.

To summarise

The new Jeanneau 60 Yacht is a serious all round yacht that packs a real punch both in design and innovation. To book a viewing or to find out more, click below

IN OTHER NEWS

We are getting more information weekly on the new yacht but what we can tell you so far:

The new yacht will have a hard top option, brining it inline with many of her competitors. This option is becoming more and more popular and one that cannot be ignored. It provides a great continuous canopy but allows for easy opening when required.

The finish of the new yacht will be inline with the Jeanneau 64, benefiting from the amazing design of Andrew Winch, she will not disappoint.

There will be two engine options, 110HP and 150HP

Tender Garage

The Jeanneau 60 offers for the first time an offset longitudinal tender garage, instead of the typical transverse garage, which comes attached to a few benefits, the most obvious of which is being able to accommodate a large tender in a garage that because it is offset doesnโ€™t require the usual compromise seen in the aft cabins of similar boats.ย

Instead the owner will find a large and open cabin at the aft of the vessel which includes seating and dresser areas with plenty of storage and a large bed situated to starboard. A real innovation in this class.

Additionally the transom has been designed in such a way that it allows for split opening, so if you donโ€™t want to open the tender garage an equipment stored within to the entire world you can open just the starboard section that allows access to the steps to the pontoon or water, improving aesthetic appeal and security at the same time.

A genuine and smart innovation in the new Jeanneau 60 which needs to be seen to be appreciated. We have viewings available strictly by appointment at the upcoming boat shows just get in touch with us today and weโ€™ll do the rest.

Walk Around Side Decks

Continuing the innovation first found in the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440 and 490 this new Jeanneau 60 Yacht offers the same sloping side decks allowing unencumbered access from the cockpit to the bow and back again without the need to climb over any coamings or deck hardware.

Making access to the forward part of the boat easier has long been an aspiration for the sailing yacht community, both for ease of use and safety reasons and when Jeanneau found this innovative solution it was clear it was the way forward leaving other designs well behind it. When you first step aboard and walk around it immediately becomes clear which this is such a good idea.

Sleek, easy to understand these decks offer their user an unparalleled way to circulate onboard not matched by anything else in the market today and should be experienced to be believed. Speak to us about booking a viewing to see them first hand for yourselfโ€ฆ.

Modular Arrangement

The modular design style, first seen in the very well received Jeanneau 64, has been incorporated into this new boat to allow for easy and straightforward customisation of the interior to meet the specific needs of each individual owner.

This means that a prospective owner can configure a wide variety of different interior layouts including splitting the forward VIP cabin into two cabins for larger groups, adding a bunk cabin aft starboard, useful perhaps for crew or children, and reconfiguring the internal seating arrangement with various sofa and desk options to best suit the needs of the owner.ย

This new approach to allowing you to swap indiviual parts of cabins and the saloon space without having to just choose from particualr cabin configurations means its even easier to end up with a boat that suits your own needs and style.

On top of all this you are invited to customise the internal finish from a number of different choices, fabric textures and colours so that it reflects your own personal style and taste.

The Jeanneau 60 Yacht, offering flexibility and praticality in a stylish package that gives the owners exactly what they want. Speak to the YACHTS.CO crew today to arrange a viewing.
